Last week we saw lots of haute hair and makeup from the catwalks of the 2008 Spring Couture Fashion Shows. While most of the looks were wild and over-the-top, there was one traditional hair theme that seemed to keep popping up. Whether it was styled tight and low at Valentino, in the middle of the head and accessorized at Armani Privè or worn high with some height at the crown at Chanel, the bun is this moment's "it" hair. 
Ah, I love seeing celebrities looking natural and down-to-earth. This is the kind of hairstyle that everybody wears when you can't be bothered to primp, but you've got to get out of the house and get your day started. I like to call this look the Sunday bun, but really it's just a casual, messy updo that requires only a hair elastic or clip and serves the purpose of getting your hair out of the way. RSS Feed
