In this week's episode of
America's Next Top Model, the contestants were given posing lessons from Tyra, in which Lauren Brie discovered she should pretend to surf and Marjorie learned to channel the Hunchback of Notre Dame. The girls then participated in a photo shoot where they accepted faux awards called "The Fiercees" — and in embarrassing situations at that (McKey erroneously thinking she was winning, Elina having a small mental breakdown). All in all, a ho-hum episode.

Slogans and iconic commercials become ingrained in our collective cultural subconscious, whether it's "It does a body good" (for milk) or "It's the real thing" (for Coca-Cola). Beauty taglines are always uplifting and hopeful, promising added confidence with the use of the product. (Whether that happens is another story.)
See how much that clever marketing actually sank in with this quiz, where you'll have to match the tagline with the brand.

I always love hearing some good beauty advice, whether it be from my Grandma's tried and true Oil of Olay regimen to the oddest concoction from a well-known actress.
Take my quiz below to see who you think might have dished on their own beauty routines/mantras, and learn a little something along the way.

The 1980s were all about sex, money and power, and the decade's fragrances reflect that. Ads that pushed the envelope, like the 1985 ads for Calvin Klein's Obsession, reinforced that whether you were wearing Stetson or Calyx spoke volumes about you. Take this quiz to see how well your sense of smell survived the 80s.

On this week's episode of
America's Next Top Model the girls had to portray natural disasters — all while our favorite Frenchwoman Marjorie was a natural disaster of her own. Paulina also lead the ladies in a challenge in which they had to attempt to make catalog clothes look like they were well-tailored.
