Over the weekend, Angelina Jolie upped the wow factor once again with her beautiful red-carpet look at the premiere of Changeling. Last year, I got the lowdown directly from Angelina's makeup artist that Angie is a huge fan of Guerlain Terracotta Loose Kohl Powder in Deep Charcoal Black ($32). While this beloved shade is adored by many, the steep pricetag just might not fit the bill — or should I say your bills.

Cannes Angelina Jolie Pull Off a One-Sided, Half-Up Hairdo?

So far we've seen two beauty looks from Angelina Jolie at the Cannes Film Festival. The first was yesterday morning at the Kung Fu Panda photo call when she arrived wearing minimal makeup and her hair styled with one side half-up and half-down. The second was last night at the Kung Fu Panda movie premiere. Her makeup was more defined and her hair was flowing long and loose. Both looks are beautiful on the glowing, growing star, yet I took a pregnant pause at the somewhat matronly, late '70s-inspired, one-sided style. Do you like this look on Angelina? Source

Does She Or Doesn't She Wear Hair Extensions, Part III

Ok, seriously — do all celebrities wear hair extensions? I used to believe the answer was no, but thanks to all of the insight from Sheila Stotts, I'm beginning to think otherwise. The gang from Gossip Girl wear them, as do all of the famous faces from part I and part II of my celebrity hair extension quizzes. Even if these people currently aren't extending their hair, they've at least worn them at some point in their career.

Angelina is certainly not helping the pregnancy rumors with her billowing dress, but her glowy skin might be due to good makeup alone. Angelina Jolie was in London this weekend, and the two looks she sported couldn't be more different. For the European premiere of Beowulf, she went with nude lips, smoky eyes and soft curls. Out on the town with Brad, she made a bold statement with red lips. Angelina has a new commercial, but unless you live in Japan, you won't see it on television. That's because Angie hawks products in Japan that she doesn't promote elsewhere (so do Brad and Orlando). She's appearing as the face Shiseido's new Integrate cosmetics line, which, unfortunately, isn't sold online. Take a look at the ad here, and let me know what you think. (Anyone speak or read Japanese? I'm dying to know what the marketing-speak says.)

I love seeing Angelina happy like this—she really has such a gorgeous smile. I couldn't help but notice that she cut her hair over the weekend. Maybe she's relieved to have a lighter load since she's constantly carrying around her children. If you visit Japan, you might be surprised by how many Hollywood movie stars are used to hawk everyday products that they never do back in the US. Jodie Foster has made coffee commercials for the Japanese market, Winona Ryder has driven around in a Subaru, and Madonna has donned a kimono to promote a distilled rice drink. And then there's Charlize Theron, Jennifer Connelly, Anne Hathaway, Demi Moore, Harrison Ford, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt... and now, Orlando Bloom is dancing around for Uno hair products. You run Skinema.com, a website chronicling skin and dermatology in cinema. Which celebrities have good skin, in your opinion?
Nicole Kidman. She's a role model for being fashionably fair. So are
Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon and Keira Knightley. These are women who are not hitting the tanning beds. Being tan is last century's look. With all that said, Keira has acne, but so do a lot of stars—like Cameron Diaz, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. In the last Harry Potter movie, they had to go in frame-by-frame and digitally fix blemishes.

Angelina and Shiloh Drop Perfume Trademark Suit

Oh, that Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. So little, yet so litigious! She and mama Angelina recently had a lawsuit that challenged a patent request to name a new perfume Shiloh. Well, the Jolie-Pitts (yes, Shiloh's name was on the suit) dropped the lawsuit, the patent is going forward, and soon you'll be able to smell Shiloh the fragrance.

The Washington Post reporter says of Shiloh:

It is a complex fragrance. The forward notes, the ones that hit your nose first, are cedar wood and patchouli. Rising above that earthy base are delicious whiffs of citrus (thanks to a dab of bergamot oil) and rose petals. There are probably about 30 other scents that an expert could identify. It's a really heady scent."

Sounds heady indeed. No word on what Shiloh the baby smells like, though.

Although Angelina Jolie's look used to be pretty eclectic, over the past few years she has toned down the wild child in her and her beauty has become very classic. Maybe it's motherhood, maybe it's love. Who knows, but something about her is glowing.

If you notice, she doesn't really wear a lot of makeup. She definitely tends to focus on her eyes and her lips, both of which are assets that always seem to score her on both male and female top ten hottie lists.

Heavily lined eyes have been a part of beauty for decades. The trend began in the 60's mod era, and we can see it recreated by Sienna Miller playing Edie Sedgwick in Factory Girl. Since then, it's made appearances in the 70's, in bright colors in the 80's and again in black in the 90's. Now in 2007, stars are wearing this look on the red carpet.

Lined eyes make a strong statement and are usually seen in shades of black, gray and slate. You can either create a cat eye with a winged tip, a smoky eye, a smudged rocker look or even create a dramatic and dark lower line with a hint of metallic like we saw for the Fall 2007 Luca Luca Show. Nowadays you can't go wrong with a sexy, heavy eye—and that's the bottom line.

Those famous lips are quite influential. I'd bet if she started promoting an over the counter lip plumper every woman would at least consider buying it! Angelina usually keeps her hair and makeup pretty simple but she does change up her lipstick from time to time. I like coral lips best on her, but I think she happens to look beautiful in each of these shades. As far as I'm concerned, the only look I didn't like was the pale, Goth blood around the neck phase. Red lips - don't mess with her, she looks tough and dead sexy in red.

Coral lips - this is a soft and sweet look on her - I like it a lot.

Pink lips - I would have never pegged her for pink, but it's quite pretty on her.

Neutral lips - this smoky eye and light lip combo makes her look like a class act.
