For most companies, today is the final day that promotional products will be available for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I wish this kind of do-good-beauty donation would happen more often. I hope that you've found some really great pink ribbon products to buy and make your contribution to the cause. I also hope that you've learned a little something about some of the non-profit organizations dedicated to helping those with breast cancer, to finding a cure and to preventing the disease.

Just so that I can feel extra good about keeping you in the know about as many products as I can for BCA month, here's one pretty pink product from Smashbox I think you'll like. Blushing Pink Fusion Soft Lights ($59) is a limited-edition set normally valued at $82. It contains a light pink blush powder and a face and body blush brush with a pink handle.

October is almost over, and yet I have just a few more Breast Cancer Awareness products to feature. Today's is a bit of a splurge, but it's one that I think you'll like a lot. FHI Heat's Technique 1" Styling Iron ($105) is a ceramic iron that allows you to straighten, curl, and flip hair with just one device. Its plates are treated with tourmaline, helping the hair follicle lie smoother—which makes hair look sleeker and shinier than non-ionic heat irons do.

As I am sure you all know by now, Avon is a huge supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. In addition to offering a variety of "pink ribbon products" such as this Breast Cancer Lip Balm with SPF 15 ($1.50, with all profits donated to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade), the company sponsors several walks to raise money for breast cancer research and prevention.

Whether you call them your girls, your twins, your knockers or something else, October is a good time to think about your breasts. Because it's Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we should all take a moment to check our ta-tas for lumps. (It really is an effective way to detect the disease.) All month, I've been finding "pink" products, and this one is a real hoot.

Lotions & Potions is a small company run by a woman in Chicago. It specializes in botanical, organic, handmade products such as this pink-tinted Boob Tube lip balm ($6). The vegan formula has jojoba oil and avocado oil to soften lips, plus it has a cheery pink grapefruit scent. Half of all sales will benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and there's free shipping if you spend more than $10. I haven't tried this lip balm, but judging on the concept alone, it seems like a winner.

It's amazing to see so many companies on board to help support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. OPI has just come out with its new Pink of Hearts Nail Lacquer. This pale pink color has been created exclusively to raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.

OPI will make a donation of $25,000 to help fuel research and development toward the fight against breast cancer. In addition, Ladies Home Journal is running a contest through October. If you are a breast cancer survivor or know someone who is, you can write a 500-words-or-less entry about why you think you should win a catered at home mani/pedi party for ten. Sounds like a win-win situation to me.

Model Elizabeth Hurley loves this shade of pink so much that Estee Lauder incorporated it into its breast cancer awareness product, Pure Color Crystal lipstick ($22). The shiny, shimmery shade (called Elizabeth Pink, natch) has sheer coverage, so your own lips will show through. I've always liked Estee Lauder's lipstick packaging because it's easy to pluck the right shade out of a crowded makeup bag, and considering how this color looks, I could see this lipstick becoming my go-to choice when I'm running out the door.
