While Sex and the City author (and rumoured
I'm a Celebrity... contestant) Candace Bushnell enjoyed cocktails with Cosmopolitan after launching her fifth novel One Fifth Avenue in Sydney yesterday, Sarah Jessica Parker responded to rumours about the second SATC film. Following
Kim Cattrall's confirmation about the sequel earlier in the week, SJP has clarified that things aren't quite so far along as that yet,
telling Access Hollywood: "I’m thrilled to know Kim is excited but all the deals are not yet done.

Carrie Bradshaw didn't do me any favors. Thanks to the title of her famous movie, my daughter broached the subject of sex. As parents we know the time will come,
I just didn't think it it would be so soon — at four and a half!

I preordered
Sex and the City on Blu-ray, and when it came yesterday, I was greeted with a pleasant geeky surprise: A digital copy was included!
Digital copies have been included on a few DVDs and Blu-ray discs since the beginning of the year, but this is the first time I've gotten one — and with a movie that truly makes it worth it!
The disc is separate from the Blu-ray disc itself and when inserted, opens iTunes, where you enter the unique code that comes with your disc.

Starting now, you can take home a piece of
Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field. The fashion guru has teamed up with HSN to bring you
her iconic and exclusive fashion collection which includes dresses, tops, jackets, bags, belts, and so much more. Many of
Carrie Bradshaw's most popular looks from the movie (seen below) are also available.

All of the new DVD releases hit stores (and
Netflix) on Tuesdays. So each week in
What to Netflix: New DVD Tuesday, I sort through the best of the batch and tell you what to add to your queue. In addition to my selections below, you can also check out the dreamboat special that is
Leatherheads and Simon Pegg's comedy
Run, Fat Boy, Run.

Ooh, it's the battle of the
Sex and the City women. Actress Kristin Davis first wore this Michael Kors floral dress to Late Show With David Letterman back in May. It was a fine choice, considering the season and the popularity of floral frocks.

Candace Bushnell, the author of the book
Sex and the City, just signed a deal with HarperCollins Publishers to write a two book series titled The Carrie Diaries, which will be all about Carrie's high school years. Bushnell has always been interested in writing about Carrie's formative years, before she became the sex columnist we all grew to love, before she meet her three best friends, and before she entered into her tumultuous life in the Big Apple.
While I'm all for keeping Sex and the City alive, I'm not so sure how I feel about these books being geared towards teens.
