At the
premiere of How To Lose Friends and Alienate People, actress Gillian Anderson looked gorgeously glowing. Her tousled hair looked healthy and shiny, while the natural makeup gave her a more sophisticated look than
we've seen lately.
Gillian's makeup artist for the night was Paul Herrington, who is also
Bobbi Brown's UK Head of Artistry. He aimed to create a "very natural, dewy finish."

Lace-inspired knits, barely-there chiffon and light-as-air folds, ruffles and pleats gave the
John Rocha show an unassuming air of femininity, contrasted with strong shapes and a palette that was anchored in black. The models looked like other-worldly ballerinas with uniform top knots and buns secured with multiple, visible kirby grips. Samantha Hillerby created a hair look that appeared slightly unfinished, as though the girls were still backstage.

The metallic makeup trend is one of the hottest looks this autumn and
most of you think it's ultra flattering too.
Bobbi Brown makeup is always beautifully wearable whilst still giving a high-impact look. Their new Metallics collection will hit counters in October, but here's a sneak preview of my favourites.

The new makeup collections for autumn showcase a plethora of barely-there beiges and pink nudes to chose from this season.
Bobbi Brown has an entire line entitled Shimmering Nude, whilst the
Nars collection features glistening neutral lip colours with pared-down sheer formulations.
Already it seems that nude lips, whether matte, sheer or ultra glossy, will still be going strong next spring.
Bobbi Brown's latest makeup collection for autumn hits counters this week and we're all in for a treat. The Shimmering Nude line has been created for a subtle, yet seductive, effect. Think the nude metallic makeup looks that were all over the catwalk at Burberry and Marc Jacobs this season.

Makeup maestro, Bobbi Brown is sending her elite team of makeup artists to London, from today, until 30th July, to offer expert advice and celebrate the launch of
Bobbi Brown's new Mauve Collection.
For the next week, you can pop along to
Selfridges and make an appointment, for a free 45 minute makeup lesson with one of the expert artists, using the new season's colours, as well as learning some top tips and tricks for how to re-create the autumn/winter catwalk looks at home.
The new Mauve Collection, which is available from August, is based on the sludgy, yet sophisticated, colour palette seen on the catwalks this season.

Hot pink lip glosses are a summertime
must have. They're flirtier than a
classic red and pack more punch than a
pastel. Plus, they match all of this season's trendiest
neon pink nail polishes.

So by night you're a wild child, Kate Moss-alike, scampering from club to party, looking smoky eyed and sizzling.
And by day? Well, if you're starting to resemble Frankenstein's sister, after too many late nights and not enough kip – here's the second part of my
guide to looking beautiful, the morning-after the night-before.

Just in time for July,
Bobbi Brown is launching a brand new collection today called
Bronzed Pink. Inspired by that naturally beautiful, post-holiday glow, it includes light to deep tan, and shimmering pink shades, for a rosy, healthy look.
Bobbi says "The shades in the Bronzed Pink collection warm up the skin and give it a pretty glow." This also means they look great on olive and black skin, especially the deep bronze and pink shades.

Hot on the heels of her limited edition
jewellery-inspired collection, Bobbi Brown - everyone's favourite makeup pro - is launching a new summer scent. Although I haven't sniffed it yet, Almost Bare aims to capture that sexy, yet natural, breath of fresh air smell that we'd all like to be wafting around in this season.
It's a delicate mix of Italian bergamot, violet leaves and jasmine petals, with those base notes of cedar and warm amber that are becoming almost requisite for a scent these days.
