
Avon has recently released a fresh fragrance for men called
Christian Lacroix Noir ($28 for 2.5 oz). The launch took place right around
Father's Day and is a spicier and more arresting sequel to his 2007
Rouge fragrance. Like the famous designer’s clothes and personal style, this scent was clearly created with passion and fervor.

Do you remember back in February when I told you about
Cynthia Rowley's upcoming fragrance launch with Avon. A few weeks ago the scents became available just in time for Mother's Day. This launch date was no accident.

America's sweetheart, Reese Witherspoon, sure is working doubletime as the Avon spokesperson by participating in the
Avon Foundation Walk For Breast Cancer in Washington, DC this weekend. Not only do I love her for being such a do-gooder, but she's pretty darn adorable in that

Marimekko makeup collection, and now it's getting up close and personal with McDreamy. The brand has signed Patrick Dempsey to a fragrance deal, meaning that he'll not only smile pretty for advertisements, he'll also be involved in the development of the scent itself.
Jillian Dempsey, his wife of nearly nine years, is Avon's Global Creative Color Director, which probably made the deal go smoothly.

Marimekko has been around since 1951, but this is the first time that the company has collaborated on a beauty product.

Now that
Reese Witherspoon's deal with Avon is out of its beginning stages, we're seeing how her role as the "brand ambassador" is shaping up. Avon
has announced the late summer debut of men's and women's fragrances from designer Emanuel Ungaro, and Reese will be the face of the fragrance. Expect to see her in print ads and TV commercials, and don't be surprised if she starts wearing Ungaro to red-carpet events.

Building on the success of her
cosmetics partnership with Avon, designer Cynthia Rowley is planning to launch a new scent with the brand. Actually, make that two scents, as she's bringing a mother-daughter fragrance duo to the market.
Launching in the US in May, Flower and Petal are coming out just in time for Mother's Day. “The idea was to create two fragrances, one for mother and one for daughter, intended to work together or independently,” Cynthia explains on the
fragrance microsite.
