Marsai Martin Debuts Gorgeous Red Hair Color on Instagram: "Reset"

Marsai Martin is ready for a "reset." On July 22, she revealed she's dyed her hair a burgundy shade of red in a post on Instagram. In her post, the actor shows off her sleek red hair, which falls just past her shoulders in waves, in three separate photos. In the first snap, she's outside, and the sun is catching her hair in a way that shows off the brightness of her new style. The second and third photos are indoor snaps, and the lighting makes the bold color appear to be a shade darker.

In the caption, Martin hinted she was ready for a change. She captioned her photos simply, "reset." Meanwhile, her famous friends were quick to tell her how much they love her fresh look in the comments. "Beautiful," Yara Shahidi wrote, and YouTuber Quenlin Blackwell added, "this eatsssss." In celebration of her red hair, Martin also shared a TikTok of herself singing along to "Looking For the H*es (Ain't My Fault)" by Sexyy Red.

Per the "Black-ish" star's post, she has hairstylist Ricky Wing to thank for her new style. King showed off the actor's hair color in two posts featuring a closer look at her red color. The first two photos were captioned, "New color & blow out for @marsaimartin," alongside a brown heart emoji, and in a second post featuring Martin, King wrote, "New hair alert."

Martin isn't the first celeb to go red this year. Earlier in July, Emily Ratajkowski shared she had swapped her brunette color for auburn, and in February, Julia Fox dyed her hair a bright red. Other celebrities who joined the redhead club recently include Chrissy Teigen and Megan Fox.
