If you're a fanatic about getting a smooth, clear complexion, I have two words for you: Brazened Honey. It's not an exaggeration to call this face mask the best secret in natural skin care—it's the only thing that consistently unclogs my blackheads, softens my skin and gives me a healthy, I-just-ran-five-miles glow. Lush says this detoxifying mask is for "when you're thoroughly ashamed of what you've done to your skin," but I think it's the secret to unlocking the kind of complexion you never knew you had. To find out what makes it work so well, read more

Lush prides itself on using just-picked foodstuffs in its products, and Brazened Honey is no exception. Ginger root, parsley, rosemary, fennel, lime and free-range eggs are just a few of the ingredients that help explain why this stuff needs to be stored in the fridge (and why it’s available only in Lush stores, not online, for $10.95). The other ingredients are similarly based in nature: Seven Ayurvedic herbs are used for their inherent cleansing properties, kaolin soaks up excess oil and chlorophyll helps heal irritated and red skin.

And did I mention that it has the scrumptious scent of honey? Seriously, it smells so amazing that you'll be tempted to eat this stuff on toast. Instead, put on a thin layer after cleaning your face, wait 15 minutes and take it off by gently rubbing in circles. Splash some lukewarm water on your face to get off the last bits, and then it's Beautiful Skin City, population: You.

I can't remember how big the container is, but it's small enough to fit in your open palm. The mask is usually fresh for about two or three weeks, and I've never managed to use the whole thing by the time the expiration date rolls around.

Lush stuff is great, but that's a bummer about not being able to use the whole thing by the time of the expiration date. Sad They do have some of the coolest products though...

All the BioFresh masks are fantastic...I like Cosmetic Warrior the best, but Brazened Honey is great for summer!

I don't normally love Lush, but this sounds like a must-buy. A good price too!

Thank you for this one, Buzzsugar! Face masks are the only way I can keep my skin clear. Unfortunately, I can't find them in the drugstores anymore. I can't even find a peel-off mask. I don't mind ordering from Sephora (who doesn't?), but sometimes it's nice to be able to just pop out and pick something up if I run out.

It's pretty gentle, but I usually use it just twice a week. Waiting for face masks to dry takes a while, plus I don't want to frighten the neighbors...

There's a Lush 15 min away from me and I'm so going there in a few days to get this. I've never tried anything by the brand but this sounds fun and I'm a skin care fanatic I'll try anything that makes it look better.

As a cleanser, try "Angels on Bare Skin" - I have very sensitive skin and I've found that "Figs and Leaves" soap (for the body) and Angels on Bare Skin (for my face) provides no irritation and smells good as well! At first I doubted that anything that looked home-made would work on my skin, but these two products are great. Can't wait to try the honey-mask - it hasn't crawled its way down here yet!

Haven't tried this one yet, but love Lush, particularly since they are cruelty free, I hate when I see products from animal testing companies on here, it only encourages them to keep torturing the innocent. Anyhow...not sure why I haven't tried this product yet, but will have to soon, great description by the way!

I love Lush! They're absolutley fabulous. I've tried their cupcake mask and it totally gave my face an amazing glow that lasts for a few days. But the whole experation date sucks, you never really get to use all of the mask.
