Nah, I personally never got into the black polish trend...I love navy and dark burgandy polish colors, but that's it for me.

I prefer dark blue. It's prettier and just as dark.

Can I just say how much I loooove LC's dress.

i used to wear black fingernails all the time in middle and high school. but then once everyone and their dog started doing it, i changed it up a bit. i either wear a black with a bit of iridescent or a dark purple

I don't get into black polish but I do love a few dark ones.."Full Metal Jacket" by NARS is gorgeous, dark, gunmetal grey..and any really deep shimmery blues are also pretty to me. I think Chanel makes one, I had always meant to try it out.

I wish I could get TOMA polishes here, they last for ages. But no dice, sadly.

I've been waiting for the return of black nail polish! However, I think I'm going to slowly move into it and start off with a deep plum.

I always have a bottle of black in my nail polish arsenal - though for a long time I had to buy a couple of them around Halloween to stay stocked!! I'm wearing black polish right now and love all the dark colors available (blue, burgundy, blood reds) and also vintage red colors. But I've never been much of a trend-follower.

I have a shiny dark blue on my nails now! I would love to do black but I think it may be too dramatic for work. I prefer dark short nails over long french tip. Don't get me wrong, the acrylic nail looks great on almost every girl but for some reason I just can't seem to function properly with them! Short and Sweet will suit me just fine!

Since I bought several bottles of navy/purple (Lincoln Park After Dark, etc)last season, I am pleased. I like to get more mileage out of my polishes. Plus, I just like how they look!

I definitely think black is just a bit too dark for nails. Plus it always looks super dull; I bought a chanel dark blue polish though and that is gorgeous. Still very dark but shiny too.

I just can't wear straight black. I do better with a dark purple or dark blue like OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark.

i just got this sally hansen polish called "pat on the black" and it is a really really deep wine color, no mica, totally shiny and gorg.

I love dark polish on my toes. I cannot quite do black but will drag out my Lincoln Park After Dark. As for my hands, alas, I cannot go dark but use Spa Ritual's Up and Away, a neutral beige-pink.

i think it was on fashionista, but i recently read that since dinah & ally lohan were both wearing black nail polish on their train wreck show--it's officially not cool anymore. guess the starlets didn't get the memo.

I'm not into black but I'm loving dark nail polish! Right now I've got OPI Russian Navy on my tips and toes.

I'm glad it's back but I think it's a bit fashion victim-y to be wearing it in the middle of summer. I'll totally be wearing it again in the fall, though.

I love the dark polish trend but I'm not going to do it in the middle of summer. Just cause the fall makeup is coming out doesn't mean you have to wear it already.

i'm not a huge fan of dark polish - it's so hard to remove!
