Ever notice how smells evoke memories and create moods? When it's time to chill out, calming lavender and clary sage are great ways to relax your mind and body. Or, when you're feeling frisky, spicy, musky scents can be powerfully seductive.

I tend to be drawn toward faint floral scents, or anything infused with a hefty dose of essential oils. What's your aroma of choice when it comes to beauty products?

To find out a few different ways you can incorporate essences into the room help make your at-home beauty treatments more enjoyable, read more.

  • Douse your favorite essential oil on four cotton balls and place them in each corner of the room.
  • Fill up your sink with warm water and mix in a few drops of essential oils as you apply your makeup — inhale and enjoy!
  • Burn a scented candle to create a special and memorable meditative atmosphere.

I am drawn to fruity, floral and sexy scents. I am turned off by old-lady scents and things that smell sporty. Think Vera Wang Princess, Angel or Apparition.

I've always enjoyed fruity and sweet fragrances in the warmer months. When it's cooler out, I love "baking" fragrances, like vanilla, pumpkin or cinnamon. I don't mind smelling like food!

I tend to to lean more towards spicy, musky, & oriental scents. I love YSL's Opium; I pair it with a LAVANILA perfume.. And the next perfume I'm probably going to get is DKNY's Delicious Night. Gucci's perfumes always smell good to me..

I don't mind smelling like food either! lol Especially vanilla & chocolate. Sticking out tongue

Recently I like things that smell like vanilla and anything that has a warmth to it. I think a vanilla coconut scent might be a good summer scent for me since I don't like fruity or citrusy scents that much. I remember when I was younger I use to be obsessed with finding a rose scent that smelled just like roses but I never found one. I also love smells like lavender (specifically with vanilla) and violet.

For a few years I ran my own eco-friendly company, making handmade products for the home using essential oils and other natural ingredients, entirely from scratch...scent is a huge thing to me, and I still use essential oils daily.

There's tonnes of scents which I am deeply fond of but I am a stickler for a natural scent..anything fake makes my nose burn!

When it comes to beauty treatments I tend to be fond of rose, eucalyptus, mint, vanilla/nutmeg type and citrusy scents...ironically nothing like the perfumes I like.

I love fruity scents. I'm young and they remind me of when I was even younger. They smell so amazing and fun and just make me feel happy.
